  • Version 3.3 of TravelTales has been released.

 

This version includes small updates to the iPhone and Android handsets: Individual accuracy is introduced for Android phones and a help dialog for first time users has been added.

R4.0 to include Windows Phone based handsets has been postponed until 2015.

    • Copenhagen harbour
      – powered by Komo A/S

     


    In April and May 2012 it will be possible to try out TravelTales on a trip round the danish parliament, Christiansborg castle. The vivid journey will take you back to Copenhagen in 16th century during the reign of the great danish king, Christian the 4th.

     

    You can either go by kayak in the harbour of Copenhagen or by foot along the waterfront.

    You can use the normal TravelTales application for the journey (mandatory for symbian users) or use the special Android app developed for this particular purpose.

     

    Search for 'findveji' at Android market or follow the link below to install the special 'Find vej i Københavns Havn' application.

    The story is powered by Komo A/S, the media marketing production company which is typically providing sound engineering, actors and storytellers for TravelTales events.

    • The Big Gold Robbery
      – powered by Komo A/S

     

     

    In September 2011 Eos-Consult hosted a customer event based on the TravelTales product. The event took place in the city center of Herning and the participants found themselves in the middle of events that draw lines back to a robbery carried out 100 years ago.

    The story was powered by Komo A/S, the media marketing production company which is typically providing sound engineering, actors and storytellers for TravelTales events.

    The Big Gold Robbery will be used again for other events in the future as it is possible to license the story or to let Eos-Consult host the event.

    • Version 2.0 of TravelTales has been released.

     

    This version includes support for both J2ME (Symbian) devices and Android devices.

    • J2ME TravelTales


    During the autumn 2010 Eos-Consult has assisted media marketing production company, Komo A/S, in developing a new application that will be used as a platform for a new market segment.
    "We've been discussing this application for some years now, but until now the available technology has not been mature enough to host this new type of product. But now the technology is here, and the partnership with Eos-Consult offers a good way forward when it comes to the actual implementation." Ole Viinberg partner of Komo A/S says.

    • Eos-Consult partners with
      DSP Konsulenten Ltd
       

     

    As Eos-Consult is an embedded software consultancy company that helps putting the pieces together, somebody has to provide the pieces...

     

    For embedded software applications requiring complicated digital signal processing algorithms, Eos-Consult has partnered with the company, DSP Konsulenten Ltd, which is run from Glasgow, Scotland.

     

    Jon Halland, owner of DSP Konsulenten Ltd, has close to 15 years of experience in this field, and the company has been an Analog Devices DSP Collaborative Partner since 2002.

     

    Kim Hyldgaard, owner of Eos-Consult, has previously worked with DSP Konsulenten Ltd doing real-time voice data encoding and decoding with G.711 and enhanced full rate codecs in a Bluetooth access point project utilizing a Digital Signal Processor from Texas Instruments.

      • Version 3.2 of TravelTales has been released.

       

      This version introduces an online tool to ease the generation of configuration files for TravelTales. Place the output zip file directly on your TravelTales server and the journey is immediately available for both iPhone and Android.

      Android and iOS (iPhone) targets are supported in this release that also includes improvements for the app as well as the configuration tool.

        • Version 3.3 is expected in the first half of 2014.

         

        We expect to enhance the online configuration tool to work directly as a front-end for the TravelTales server. Furthermore we are planning for a release 4.0 in the autumn of 2014 to include Windows based handsets.

      • Version 3.1 of TravelTales has been released.

        This version introduces the TravelTales server for Android and iOS, where journeys can be found and downloaded.

              orienteers

             

            TravelTales / Travel-O will be demonstrated at the danish orienteering championship (sprint).

             

            The event takes place in the middle of beautiful Silkeborg the 9th of April.

              Conpleks Innovation ApS

             

            Eos-Consult has been selected by Conpleks Innovation ApS to assist on high-level software design for a new advanced data and telephony product.

            The task involves general system management tasks as well as designing the software architecture in close cooperation with the software and hardware teams from Conpleks Innovation.

            • Travel-O  – TravelTales for
              orienteers

             

            TravelTales can be used in the world of orienteering.

             

            A demo is scheduled at the youth leadership seminar in January 2011.

            • The first version of J2ME TravelTales has been released!

             

            The very first version of the J2ME version of TravelTales has been released.

            The JAVA application has been tested with around 10 different Symbian based handsets with good results. The accuracy can be set as low as +/- 5 meters!

            • Now it is official:
              Eos-Consult goes live...

             

            During the last weeks the sound of power tools could be heard at www.eos-consult.com, as the work
            with the web-site has been going on day and night... (Or at least almost day and night...)

            Eos-Consult is a software consultancy company that specializes in software application consultancy services.
            "Basically I've had several requests to start this company", Kim Hyldgaard, owner of Eos-Consult says.
            "But the final decision was made at the 18th of April 2010, where the partnership with the media marketing production company, Komo A/S, was established".
